John Smith Signs to Play in Vermont

The reigning Division II Player of the Year, John Smith, has signed a contract to the play the rest of the 2009 season as a member of the Vermont Frost Heaves a member of the Premier Basketball League or PBL. The PBL is a 13 team league, according to the standings, with teams ranging from the continental US up into Canada. The league has a variety of players ranging from Division III, Division II and Division I along with some NAIA and foreign players. The Frost Heaves are currently 7-6 on the season with seven games left before the playoffs begin.
